Configuration
To use the JIRA integration, simply add an application link to the JIRA instance to which you wish to submit issues. (See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Linking+Stash+with+JIRA for more details about doing this). In order to submit issues, Bitbucket needs to be able to authenticate as the user logged into Bitbucket in JIRA. This means that your Application Links must be either:
- Trusted Application
- oAuth
To verify the settings, visit the /wiki/spaces/INSIGHT/pages/63275346 page.
Create issue
Once your Bitbucket instance has been successfully set up, click the JIRA icon in the Actions column. This will prompt you to select the JIRA instance (if there are multiple instances) and the project, and then will allow you edit the Summary and Description of the JIRA issue.
1 - Click the JIRA icon
2 - Select the project
3 - Supply the details (Summary and Description are automatically populated)
4 - Your issue has been created
