You’re ready to sync!
A profile needs to successfully complete all necessary steps before synchronization between the Jira project and Azure DevOps project can begin.
Once you have successfully configured the sync profile, Configuration turns green and shows 5/5, all the configuration links in the left menu have a checkmark, and a success message is displayed, indicating the profile is ready.
The success message also contains links to Turn on synchronization and Sync initial items.
Turn on synchronization - Enable synchronization to allow for synchronization between Jira and Azure for any future changes between the two platforms. The toggle at the top of the profile page is enabled, and the status on the profile entry changes to SYNC ON.
Sync initial items - Initial sync allows you to synchronize items that existed before the synchronization was configured. Go to the Initial synchronization page for more information.
