This quarter couldn’t end without this festivity of features and improvements for the Dashboard Hub family (smile) Welcome Summer!

Organizations in JSM dashboards: Restrict and Content Filtering

First of all, remember that you can give Customer Portal users access to specific dashboards. Now, we go a step further by providing the ability to grant access to complete organizations! And not only that, you can also restrict the content of a given dashboard, to just members of their own organization, with Content Filtering:

JQL queries and Sprints in Agile gadgets

We have added the ability of retrieving issues by Sprints in all our Agile gadgets (Scrum Velocity, Burndown, Sprint Blockers/Health/Goals, etc.). Previously, we allowed the selection of boards by project, so we brought all the sprints in those boards, but you need a finer granularity, so enjoy (smile)

JQL queries in Jira Service Management gadgets

Some JSM (ITSM) gadgets required a queue, which presented an issue for some users, since queues are usually restricted for normal users or agents. That’s why we have added the ability to either retrieve the tickets by queue, by filter or by a custom JQL query:

New Gadget macro in Confluence

Up to now, you could embed a whole dashboard in your Confluence pages, but today we bring the ability to embed a single gadget Confluence Macro: gadget!

Features and improvements:

  • Select individual projects in the SLA by Project gadget

  • New calculated columns: Customer Portal.

  • Performance improvements: Dynamic Filters only load data from rendered gadgets

  • Date format improvements: SLAs in minutes and secs (time centric), dates without day names

  • Scrum Velocity applies the board filter to the set of sprints

  • Security validation improvements in external links

  • Dynamic Filter bar: Date fields added, available in externally shared dashboards and currentUser() option

  • Sprint Blockers gadget has a new design

  • Improved performance when rendering the Velocity Scrum gadget

  • Opsgenie’s Open Alerts gadget now display up to 15 alerts

  • Added support for the Jira Dark Mode

  • Improved the dark mode UI in the Epic Progress gadget

  • Count distinct now works with labels

  • Dashboards in the Customer Portal can be exported
