Scenario

Add the heading number to the business document using Numbered Headings features.

Steps

The following steps demonstrate how to apply the heading number to the document created using Numbered Headings features:

Step 1

Select the Number Headings macro

  1. Navigate to the business document where you want to add the heading numbers.

  2. Click (blue star). The Number Headings macro is displayed.

  3. Enable Numbered Headings.

Step 2

Customize the heading

  1. Choose the numbering format from the Number format drop-down menu. In this example, we choose Decimal as the number format for our document.

  2. Click Save.

Step 3

Publish the page

A warning message is displayed, and once the heading number is added an information message is displayed.

Then, refresh the page, the heading number is displayed.

Step 4

Select the Number Headings macro

  1. Navigate to the another page in the space where you want to add the heading numbers.

  2. Click (blue star). The Number Headings macro is displayed.

  3. Enable Numbered Headings.

Step 5

Customize the heading

  1. Choose the numbering format from the Number format drop-down menu. In this example, we choose Decimal as the number format for our document.

  2. Specify the Starting numbers. In this example we choose 2. The heading starts with number 2.

  3. Click Save.

 

4️⃣

Step 4

Repeat steps one, two and three to add heading numbers to your other business documents.
