We are happy to be a part of your cloud journey and are ready to assist you!

Cloud migration can transform a business, and thankfully, migrating SLA configurations and data is an easy process that can be completed in several simple steps.

Need a Data Center and Cloud feature comparison? We’ve got you.

When you migrate to Cloud with Jira Cloud Migration Assistant, you also migrate your issue SLAs. This means you don't need to perform recalculation upon migration. However, when you use the Import/Export function, you’ll need to recalculate. If you have a high number of issues, we strongly recommend using JCMA, as it would be too difficult to recalculate all of your issues later on.

When performing the migration, TTS and projects should be transferred at the same time to successfully migrate issue SLAs.

Before you begin:

Please update Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and Time to SLA to the latest versions.

Then, start the migration process:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Migrate to Cloud.

  2. Click Assess your Apps and select Needed in Cloud for Time to SLA.

  3. JCMA will guide you through the rest of the migration process. For details on Jira Cloud Migration Assistant, please visit https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/use-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant-to-migrate/

And you're done! JCMA will migrate all of the SLA configurations, calendars, notifiers, settings, and SLA data as a part of the migration process.

For the issue SLAs to be migrated, you need to migrate Time to SLA and the project at the same time.
