Global Configuration

Global administrators can

  • manage user approval signing tokens

  • configure the Confluence site to allow the app to be accessed from behind a company firewall

Approval Signing Code Admin

When using the Quality Management System workflow e-signature is enabled for each workflow approval. Users must use a signing token to enable the approval and authenticate the approval decision.

The details for signing tokens set up by individual users are displayed in the Approval Signing Code Admin screen:

  • user name

  • token expiry date

  • date created

  • last token usage attempt by each user

  • number of failed token authentication attempts by each user

Global administrators can

  • choose to reset signing codes requiring a user to set up a new signing code

Global permissions configuration

Installing the app automatically adds the Comala Approvals for Confluence Cloud app system user and configures the app system user global and space permissions.

App access for a Confluence site accessed behind a company firewall

Some users access to Confluence is from behind a corporate firewall that limits the URLs that they have access to.

Recent updates to the app use asynchronous notifications of state changes that require use of one or more URLs.

If the app is used behind a firewall, the app may not behave as expected as the app requires access to these URLs.

These URLs need to be added to the whitelist for your company firewall.

The following URLs need to be whitelisted for your company firewall for the app to function correctly

  • wss://ws.async-notifications-cwc.production.comala.zone
