Document Approvals Report macro

New Document Approvals Report page macro.

A customizable report macro with workflow approval-related information filter options and enhanced performance when reporting multiple approvals on the page. The report displays workflow approval details, such as approval status, workflow state, current approvers, pending approvals, and the latest page update information.

The Document States Report macro no longer includes approval filters. These filters are included in the new Document Approvals Report macro.

Slack integration together with Appfire Docs+

Send custom Slack messages to a user in Slack using Appfire Docs+ and an applied Comala Document Management workflow trigger using the send-slack-user action macro.

Configure a space or instance to send Slack messages to an associated Slack user for default workflow notifications for tasks, approvals, reviewer assignments, state expiry, and read confirmations.

New Data Refresh option for workflow report tools and reporting macros

  • displayed in-app report tools, page report macros, and report macro editor preview includes an option to refresh data used in the workflow reports

  • the report data refresh button option links to the space tools Data Refresh dashboard in each space (replacing the Report Data Population dashboard)

Integration with Appfire Dashboard Hub

Appfire Dashboard Hub provides integration with Comala Document Management. The new Workflow Custom Charts gadget allows the creation of customized charts and tables to visualize and analyze document lifecycles, workflow statuses, and other crucial metrics by leveraging workflow parameters.

Updates

  • cloud migration now supports the migration of the color of the current workflow state

  • updates in preparation for Confluence 9

  • Document States Report macro no longer includes approval filters - Approval assigned to; Approval name; Approval status

The approval filters are available in the new Document Approvals Report macro.

Bugfixes

  • updated the workflow popup state progress tracker to show the progress line up to the current state

  • resolved an edge case error in the pre-check of document activity data

Releases of Comala Document Management v7 and later are data center only.

Releases of Comala Document Management v6 from v6.17.11+ are server only. Atlassian Confluence Server reached end of life on 15 FEB 2024. Appfire no longer automatically provides bugfixes and updates for our server apps after this date.
