What is a board container?

board consists of columns into which you can add containers. Each container has these attributes:

  • the container name

  • the container description

  • the labels defined for each container

Both cards and page-cards (cards with a linked Confluence page) are added to each container.

Move cards from one container to another by dragging and dropping the card.

Moving a card from one container to another

  • adds the new container labels to the card and any linked page

  • removes the source container labels from the card and the linked page

The board editor is used to add a name, description, and one or more labels to a container.

Open the Edit Board and click on a container.

  • choose Save to update the board macro on the draft page

  • Publish the draft page to view the board on the page

The look and feel of each board container is customized by using the board editor to

  • change the container color scheme

  • add an icon to the container title

  • No labels
