The SLA Indicator Custom Field displays a single lozenge to show the status of an issue by taking into account all of its SLAs.

Time to SLA does not create this custom field upon installation, which means, if you want to use it, you need to configure it after installation. Learn how.

The SLA Indicator Custom Field Lozenges

Description

Lozenge

All SLAs have been MET.

No SLA has EXCEEDED, and at least one SLA is in PROGRESS.

At least one SLA has been EXCEEDED.

If the lozenge is MET or EXCEEDED, you can see the details of those SLAs by clicking on the lozenge.

If you have multiple SLAs on your issues and one of them is exceeded, we show the value of this field as "EXCEEDED".

If you have multiple SLAs on your issues and one of them is met and you don't have an exceeded SLA on this issue, we show the value of this field as "MET".

If you have multiple SLAs on your issues and none of them is met or exceeded, we show the value of this field as "PROGRESS".


How to Change SLA Indicator Custom Field Display Options

1. Go to SLA Fields.

2. Click the cog icon in the row of a custom field in order to change its display options.

3. Go to Display Options.

4. The Display Options screen will appear.

5. Select Time Format to display.

You can see the Sample Time String as you select.

Long format: Displays the duration with day/hour/minute/second units and full localized unit labels.

Short format: Displays the duration with day/hour/minute/second units and abbreviated unit labels.

Shorter format: Displays the duration with hour/minute/second units and abbreviated unit labels.

6. Tick Display SLAs of Linked Issues if you want to view SLAs of linked issues within one another.

7. Click Save.
