Method to Obtain

Space key and Migration name

  • go to General Configuration

  • on left-hand menu- navigate to Migration Assistant

  • choose MIGRATE YOUR DATA in the Migration Dashboard to view details of any previous migration

  • find the Migration name  and Space Key details in the Migration Dashboard-

This will be the data input for the next step

Migration Private Key and Passphrase

  • go to the gear icon ⚙> Manage apps

  • scroll to the Security and Encryption Configuration > Settings

  • scroll to the bottom of the Settings page to find the View Migration keys link


  • input the previously obtained values from Migration Dashboard

    • Migration name

    • Space Key

  • copy the

    • Migration private key

    • Passphrase

  • keep this result handy for the next steps in Confluence Cloud
