2. The Reset function enables you to define the conditions under which an SLA will be reset. According to your selection, a new SLA can be started, and the new SLA can only start counting again if the start condition is met.

There are 3 three use cases to keep in mind here:

(blue star) 1) A finished SLA is a closed contract and a reset cannot change that

2) A finished contract might be reactivated from zero with a reset

(red star) 3) A finished contract might be completely invalidated with a reset. Even in SLAs that are in the first cycle, the SLA can start from zero with a new START event.
