Overview

Excerpt

One or more conditions“conditions" can be set for a trigger for a named event in the workflow.

Adding the "initial":true condition to a trigger listens for the trigger event that occurs when the document state is the workflow's initial change to the state for a workflow applied to a document.

This trigger only listens for the first transition into a the initial state

  • the condition is boolean with a value of true or false

When the named workflow event occurs, the trigger checks that any required condition is met and sets one or more actions if they are met.

Info

Constrain the initial condition to a single named state in the workflow by using it together with the "state" condition. Teh The two conditions used together are evaluated as an AND function.

Adding the "initial" condition together with the "final" condition to an event, evaluates the two conditions as an OR function.
