Space Confluence administrators or permitted administrators can collectively enable numbered headings for all spaces and specify how they can be applied across all pages globally.
Do the following to access the space global numbering option:
Log in as an administrator or space a Confluence administrator.
Navigate to Settings → Numbered Headings → Configuration. The Global numbering option for Numbered Headings is displayed.
Enable the Enable Global Numbering option.
