This article explains how to resolve the reporter field error when using the sub-task post function in the Create on Transition for Cloud app. 

Instructions

  1. Log in as in as a Jira Administrator administrator and clickImage Modified> Projects.
  2. Select the required project and click Project Settings Settings.
  3. Select the required workflow and click Edit to view the transitions associated with the workflow.
  4. Select a transition and click click Post-Function from the box on the right.
  5. Click Click Add post function, select elect Create Sub-task from the list, and click click Add.
  6. Below is Configure the Create sub-task post function configuration as follows:

  7. Publish the workflow. 

    In order to test

    For testing purposes, create a sample ticket. For example,

    create a ticket with Improvement issue type

    as "Improvement"

    and

    perform the

    transition to the In Review status.


  8. Check the transition logs by navigating

  9. To resolve the Remote error, edit the Edit the respective project permissions and modify edit the reporter permissions by associating the in Modify Reporterpermission to  for a Group as  as shown below:.

  10. Create Now, create an Improvement improvement request and change the transition to IN REVIEW status as status to In Review as per the configured post-function.
