This article explains how to resolve the reporter field error while creating a subtask in the app Create on Transition on Cloud instance.

1. Make sure to install the app Create on Transition before performing the below steps.
2. Log in as a Jira Administrator and clickImage Modified → Projects.
3. Select the required project and click Project Settings.
4. Select the required workflow and click Edit to view the transitions associated with the workflow.
5. Select a transition and click Post-Function from the box on the right.
6. Click Add post function, select Create Sub-task from the list and click Add.
7. Below is the Create sub-task post function configuration:
   
   
8. Publish the workflow before performing the transition. 
9. In order to test, create a sample ticket with issue type as "Improvement" and perform the transition to In Review.
10. Check the transition logs by navigatingImage Modified→ System → Transition Logs.

11. To resolve the Remote error, modify the reporter permissions by adding to a Group as shown:

12. Create an Improvement request and change the transition to "IN REVIEW" as per the configured post-function.
13.  Subtask gets created with Issue links as "relates to" as shown below:

14. Output in the transition log, after the transition is:
