Find help using Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ)

This document informs you about the different channels to get help with CMJ-related questions, requests, and issues.

Where to start

If you encounter any problems using or setting up Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ), please let us know — we're here to help!

  • First, look for information in the Configuration Manager for Jira User’s Guide.

  • If you need assistance, raise a support request at our Support Portal.

Raising a support request

To raise a support request:

  1. Visit Appfire’s Support Portal and raise a support request.

  2. Provide as much information as possible, and add screenshots if there’s an error in Jira’s UI or in the browser console. Also mention the browser, operating system, and version of your Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ) app.

Create a Support Zip

When filing an issue, you’ll need to create, save, and attach a Support Zip which contains information about your Jira system. This will help our support engineers troubleshoot the issue.

To create a Support Zip:

  1. Log in as a user with the Jira System Administrator global permission.

  2. Navigate to the Atlassian Tools Support Page.
(tick) Keyboard shortcutg + g + type support tools.

  3. Click Support Zip and a new page will open up.

  4. Leaving all the boxes ticked, click the Create button at the bottom of the screen.

  5. You can now go to your issue and attach the support zip.
