This article will explain how to fix the error when saving the Chat for JSM project settings, as shown in the screenshot below.

Error: Unable to save "This request is invalid. Check that the request contains all the required parameters and that the parameters are valid. (email: An account already exists for this email)"

  1. Browse https://admin.atlassian.com/ in browser.

  2. Select Products on the top tab.

  3. On the left side panel select the website.

  4. Again, on the left side panel, select Portal-Only customers.

  5. Search for Anonymous Chat User

  6. Select the three Dots (…) and click Grant access

  7. Now you will be able to save the settings on chat for JSM.
