Migrating to Atlassian Cloud
Overview
This page explains the migration support details for the Dataplane Server/Data Center app reports from Server/DC to the cloud.
The Dataplane Reports application by Appfire is hosted on the Server/Data Center and is not available on the cloud. To have your Dataplane reports on the cloud, use the Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud application by Appfire.
Prerequisites
Install (and configure) Dashboard Hub for Jira on your cloud instance.
Migration process
Appfire is working on an automated way of migrating from Dataplane Reports for Jira Server/Data Center to the Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud using JCMA. We will update you as soon as it’s ready.
Meanwhile, we recommend configuring your Dataplane reports on Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud to experience its benefits. To configure reports, refer to Migrating from Dataplane Server/Data Center to Dashboard Hub Cloud.
Limitations
The reports look and feel may differ slightly based on the configurations and application templates of Dashboard Hub for Jira Cloud.
To know the feature parity for both products and which gadget to choose, refer to Dataplane Server/Data Center vs Dashboard Hub Cloud Feature Comparison.
The reports generated in Dataplane Reports and Dashboard Hub for Jira cloud are based on the Jira data available in the instance. To have the Dashboard reports with the same data as Server/Data Center, migrate your Jira Server/ Data Center data to the Jira cloud.
To migrate your Jira Server/Data Center data to the Jira cloud, refer to Jira Cloud Migration Assistant or Configuration Manager for Jira.
