Introduction

SIL Tempo Connector enables you to extend Jira by handling Tempo Timesheets objects so that you can sync data by updating Issues, Accounts and Teams in a timely manner.

We are excited to introduce the support for the popular Tempo Timesheets plugin to Jira including support for following datatypes:

  • Accounts
  • Teams
  • Issues
  • Timesheet attributes

Key features

  • Create your own functions in SILâ„¢.
  • Set the Team and Account fields automatically.
  • Retrieve and parse  data for the attribute to all existing work logs. Or attributes can be automatically set when a work log is added.
  • Update the relevant work log.
  • Create a validator to check if a user is in the team defined in Tempo.
  • Show or hide fields on the screen based on Tempo Team/Account.

Use cases

  • Automatically set the Team and Account fields when issue is created. Can be dynamic based on request type or organization.
  • Set attributes on existing work logs. For instance - If a new attribute (like a custom field) is added to Tempo all existing work logs will not have data for this attribute. Power Scriptsâ„¢ for Jira can add data for this attribute to all existing work logs. Or attributes can be automatically set when a work log is added.
  • Create a validator to check if a user is in the team defined in Tempo, if not the user cannot transition the issue.
  • Show or hide fields on the screen based on Tempo Team/Account.
