Add support for custom work attributes provided by Tempo

Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards now provide support for Tempo's custom work attributes. To learn more, please please refer to the Integration with Tempo documentation section.

Installation and Upgrade

The app can be installed from the Atlassian Marketplace or the Find new add-ons page of your Jira instance.

 Please make sure you follow the instructions below before and after installing / upgrading the Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards app:

  • Before installing Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards – you should make sure you have a compatible Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards app version already installed and licensed. In order to know the compatible Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards versions, have a look at our compatibility matrix between Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards and Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards. The minimum Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards version to use is version 1.26.0.

  • Before upgrading Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards – it is preferable to first upgrade the Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards app to the latest version.

  • After installing Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards –  you must reindex the work logs of your Jira instance. Until this operation is completed, the filters and statistics based on work logs will not return correct results. Jira's native background indexing (global or per project) does not index the worklogs; it only indexes the issues. To correctly perform this operation, please see our Worklog indexing section.

Supported Jira Versions

Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards version 2.0 is supported on Jira versions starting with 8.19.0. See Atlassian Marketplace for the latest Jira version compatibility information.

  • Fixed: After upgrading from a previous Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards version, indexing errors may prevent the creation of new and the update of existing issues until a full reindex of the instance is performed

Important: after upgrading from a previous Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards version, you still need to perform a full reindex of your Jira instance to guarantee correct results based on worklogs.
