The rich filter statistics gadget

Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards is an extension of the Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards app.

This page extends The Rich Filter Statistics Gadget page from the Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards documentation.

Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards adds new features to the Rich Filter Statistics gadget, allowing you to build statistics based on work logs. Check the key concepts page to learn how the filtering and grouping based on work log attributes work.

After installing Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards, you can use the Rich Filter Statistics gadget to:

  • display statistics based on the Worklog Author

  • display statistics based on the Worklog Date

  • display statistics based on custom work log queries

  • display time series based on the Worklog Date

To use the new features, the gadget provides new setting options:

Statistic Type

A new section called Worklog attributes is available. The work log attributes you can chose from are:

  • Worklog Author

  • Worklog Date

Smart filters can also be used as statistic types. Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards allows you to include work log queries in your smart filter clauses to group work logs.

See our Advanced Work Log Searching section to learn how to define custom work log queries.

Values

A new section called Worklog attributes is available for values based on work logs. The new section contains the Worklog Time Spent value.

Time Series

If the Statistic Type is Time Series, then the user can output any time series, including time series based on the Worklog Date. Time series based on work logs aggregate the Worklog Time Spent.

You can look at the Extending the time series page to learn more about time series based on work logs.
