After cloud migration, "Redirection Interrupted" error messages appear on pages that contains redirection to attachments

Purpose

After migrating confluence pages that contain Redirection macro to redirect pages to attachments, users may see the following error message in Confluence Cloud.

Redirection Interrupted This page didn’t redirect to Page^Attachment.jpg due to invalid location or insufficient access permission.

Answer

Redirection server and cloud differ a little, so you will need to reconfigure the macro manually in cloud:

  1. Edit the page, and edit the macro.

  2. You will see that the attachment location specified in the Location parameter instead of the Confluence. Attachment parameter. To reconfigure, start typing the title of the page where the attachment is located in in the Location parameter.

  3. Copy the attachment name and type in the Confluence Attachment parameter.

  4. Save, and publish the page.
