How to add a LaTeX Math formula that uses an underscore (_) in a Confluence page

This article explains how to add a LaTeX Math formula that uses an underscore (_) in a Confluence page.

Instructions

1. Create a Confluence page.

2. Edit the page and include the LaTeX Math Block macro.

3. Add a formula as shown below inside this box. You need to add a backslash (\) before the underscore(_) to render the formula in a Latex Math block.

   Open

   

4. Click Save

5. Click Publish
