After you install the add-on:

Verify the installation

After you install the add-on, to verify that the installation was successful, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Administration icon  and click on it.

2. Locate Add-ons from the menu and click on it. Click on Manage Add-ons.

3. Under the User-Installed Add-ons, you should be able to see the JIRA Misc Custom Fields add-on as shown in the image below.

Perform a Re-index

After successfully installing the add-on JIRA prompts you to perform a Re-index as configuration changes were made. To perform a re-index:

1. Go to the Administration icon  and click on it.
2. Click on System.
3. Click on Indexing displayed in the left panel.
4. Select either of the re-indexing options and perform a re-index.
