Requirements

Before proceeding with installing and using Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud, make sure you meet these requirements:

  • A workspace with a repository in your Bitbucket cloud account

  • A public-facing Jenkins instance. A public-facing instance is required to successfully establish a connection between Jenkins and Bitbucket Cloud using Webhook to Jenkins for Bitbucket Cloud.

  • Administrator access to both your Bitbucket and Jenkins accounts

  • A Git and/or Bitbucket Branch Source plugin is installed in your Jenkins instance. Both plugins can exist on Jenkins simultaneously, but only one can be used as an endpoint for each repository.
