Release notes 2.1

2013-01-25

Migration

Once release 2.0 or higher is installed, Confluence will automatically start migrating Confluence 3.x style macros supported by this app to Confluence 4.x native macros. For this reason, it is not easy to move back to a previous app version.

Highlights

SVG, PDF, JPG, GIF output

PNG is has been the default output type from the beginning. Now there is a choice! The default will remain PNG.

SVG support is available in most modern browsers according to Wikipedia:

All major modern web browsers—including Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 9 and 10, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari—have at least some degree of support for SVG and can render the markup directly.

Use SVG output and the Cache Macro to index the rendered content of the graph so labels can be found with Confluence search.

Mobile devices

Macros will now display with Confluence mobile support.
