Create content from Slack messages

Overview

Creating new Confluence pages, blog posts, and comments from Slack is a powerful tool to keep track of your work and complete your projects faster.

With Docs+, your user roles are automatically respected, and any action is attributed to your user.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure to invite the bot to your channel to create Confluence content.

Creating Content

  1. Navigate to a channel that contains the Docs+ bot.

  2. Mark the message to be turned into a page, blog post, or comment with the icon.

  3. Docs+ will reply to that message to inform you that wiki capture has started.

  4. Click Go to open the Create Document modal.

  5. Fill in the requested information after selecting whether to create a page, blog post, or comment.

  6. Click Create.
