How to display Composition Tabs when Composition is not compatible with Confluence 7.0 using User Macros

Summary

Composition is currently not compatible with Confluence 7.0. Tabs are not displayed and error message is shown instead. We are working on an update that fixes this.

Meanwhile, to work around this issue we can use User Macros to display the content instead.

Confluence pre-v7.0

Diagnostics Steps

Not applicable.

Cause

Composition is currently not compatible with Confluence 7.0.

Workaround

Please follow the following steps:

  • Disable Composition from Manage apps.

  • Create a user macro named "deck" (Refer to the following screenshot for the User Macro details)

     

  • Create a user macro named "card" (Refer to the following screenshot for the User Macro details)

     

  • Originally the page may have looked like this:

     

  • After adding the User Macros, it will look as below:
