The App Secret is used to verify that requests coming from WhatsApp to Chat’s backend have been sent by WhatsApp.

Find App Secret on Meta for Developers

  1. In your app, go to Settings > Basic.

  2. Click the Show button next to App Secret and enter your password.

Add App Secret to Chat

  1. Open your project, and click Project Settings > Chat for JSM > WhatsApp Integration.

  2. Copy the App Secret into the required field.
