Using Saved Filters
You can customize your own search parameters by using the Salesforce Search screen.
The Salesforce Search screen offers the following parameters to customize your own filter:
Object
Fields
Sort Results By
Max Record
Filter Results By
Creating a Saved Filter
After configuring the search to your specifications, you can click the Search button to preview the results:
You can then click Save As Filter to save the configured parameters as a Saved Filter.
The Add SOQL Filter pop-up window will appear.
Enter a suitable name for your Saved Filter and click Add.The Saved Filter will then be accessible from the sidebar in the Salesforce Search screen:
It will also be accessible from the Using Salesforce Table macro:
Sharing a Saved Filter
You can now share your existing and private SOQL filters. You can only share the filters with any user with access to the space.
Go ahead and open any SAVED FILTERS accessible from the sidebar in the Search Salesforce screen.
Click on Public share and you will get a confirmation message that filter has been successfully shared.
You will also notice that the SAVED FILTERS will now have a globe icon attached to the filter name.

Image 1: Shows the toggle to share the filter.
Image 2: Shows the message once the filter has been shared.
Image 3: Shows that the icon will change from the lock icon to a globe icon.
Editing a Saved Filter
Only filter creators can make changes to the saved filter. Users who are not owners of the filter won’t be able to view the Save changes button.
Click on a saved filter and modify any fields of the filter.
Click Save changes to confirm the changes made.
