General Settings - 6.5.7

The add-on allows a Jira admin to configure the application settings which control the general working of the add-on for all the users of the organization.

This article explains the general settings of the application. Settings for time tracking, access and notifications are covered in separate articles.

How to access settings?

  • To access the general settings, go to AdministrationApp Settings from the top navigation bar

Settings Overview

  • The page allows to set three settings

    • Business hours in a day: Admin can define the number of hours in a day that should be considered as working hours. The number defined here is used in calculations for add-on provided fields that have business days and business hours like Age (business days since creation), Days to Resolve (Business), time in status (business hrs and business days), time with assignee (business hrs and business days), etc.

    • Subscription: From name: The name provided here will be used as the sender name for all the subscription emails for all the users who setup subscriptions for their saved reports

    • Maximum number of issues that can be pulled by a report: The number set here is used for limiting the number of results pulled in a report. If the limit is set and any user in the organization creates a report that tires to pull records that exceed the number, the below error (limit set at 40 for example) will be displayed for them to tweak their report

      • If there is no value set in this field then there is no limit on the number of results pulled in a report
