Personal access tokens in Atlassian
Personal access tokens offer certain benefits in specific scenarios.
Creating personal access tokens
You can generate personal access tokens through the user interface on your profile page.
Go to the Atlassian documentation for detailed instructions on creating personal access tokens.
Considerations for Bamboo
Due to inadequate REST API support in Bamboo, personal access tokens are restricted.
Currently, only a limited number of actions are compatible with tokens. These include queueBuild
and certain list actions such as getProjectList
and getPlanList
. Nearly all other configuration-related actions do not support token authentication.

I think we need some context on his page differentiating Atlassian DC from Cloud. After removing the Bamboo section, is there much benefit to this page at all? Maybe if we take some of the rest of the content from the bottom of the https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ACLI/pages/60563795 paghe it would flesh this one out more?
