You can set the default colors in this section to color-code the Objectives. Such coding can help you understand which objectives call for extra attention. You can define your colors and add descriptions to explain what they mean.

Go to Heatmap mode to learn more about Objective color-coding using the Roadmap module.

Keep in mind:

  • A “Box type” contains the default settings applicable to multiple Boxes (all Boxes of a given type). Those settings are adjusted in box type administration.

  • Box configuration refers to the settings of a single, individual Box. They are dependent on the “Box type” settings.

Changing the configuration might turn off (hide) settings or features in the Box Configuration (of an individual Box) and within different modules.

Also, as modules can be renamed or deactivated, the name in the side menu might change or not be shown.

Adding and removing colors

Changing the default colors applies only to Boxes created after updated settings.

To add a new color, click the "+" button. You can enter a short description so the users understand what a color signifies. To remove a color, click the "x" button.

The Objective health status can be presented following the traffic light convention:

  • Green

  • Yellow

  • Red

Each health status can have a description defining its meaning, e.g., green – on track, yellow – at risk, red – off track.

The defined colors appear in the Objective edit dialog of the Roadmap module.

Go to Heatmap mode to read more about applying colors to Objectives.
