Render content from external sources with profiles(available for CSV Table and JSON Table macros)
Administrators can now configure profiles that specify parameters to access external data from applications like GitLab and GitHub. Profiles are created, updated, and deleted in the Configuration page.
Profiles enable safe and easy access to external data by ensuring that sensitive information, such as login credentials and access tokens, are hidden behind a pre-configured profile. Users can provide the pre-configured profile while configuring CSV or JSON Table macros and then specify the CSV or JSON data URL. To know more about the profile configuration, refer to the Configuration page.
Only the CSV Table and JSON Table macros can access external applications through URLs; hence, profiles can be used only with these macros.
