Overview

Using clone project action we can copy the project and respective issues but we can not copy the issue key.

FAQ

Issue keys are unique identifiers for the issues.


 Can we keep issue numbering when cloning the issues?

When we create the issues under the project, the issue key will be generated for each issue.

So when we perform the cloning of the issue from one project to another project, the new issue key will be generated for the cloned issues based on the serial. 





and if we delete any issue then particular issue key will be deleted.
