This article explains how to create a subtask to check what fixed version goes with what sub-task based on the parent ticket using the app Create on Transition for Jira on Cloud instance.
Instructions
- Log in as a Jira Administrator and click
> Projects. Select the required project and click Project Settings.
Select the required workflow and click Edit to view the transitions associated with the workflow.
Select a transition and click Post-Function from the box on the right. Details about the transition are displayed.
Click Add post function. The Add Post Function To Transition screen appears
Select Create Sub-task from the list and click Add.
- Configure the below settings and click on Update.

- Publish the workflow before performing the transition. The sub-tasks are created only if the specified condition is met.
