This article provides the step-by-step instructions on getting the custom field IDs for custom fields, through Jira UI.
Instructions
- Log in to Jira as an Administrator.
- Navigate to Administration → Issues → Custom Fields.
- Click on the Cog wheel (
) and hover over Configure or Screens option. - Observe the URL that gets displayed, at the bottom left of the browser window. Check below example screenshot for reference:
- Retrieve the custom field ID, by clicking on the configure option. The URL contains the custom field ID, as shows below:
