How to create an AIO report showing Epic links for issues in Team Managed Projects

This article explains how to create an AIO report showing issues with their epic links. The feature to use the Epic link doesn't apply to issues in Team Managed projects due to the restrictions from Atlassian. The workaround is to use the parent issue key as a replacement for the epic link, so, by using the field “Parent Issue Key,” in AIO reports, the epic links can be displayed for the issues.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to AIO Reports →  Custom Report → New Report

  2. Add the fields Issue key, Issue type, and Parent Issue key to the report:

  3. Run the report to get the list of issues and their Epic links:

  • Ensure to have proper permission to create AIO Report.

  • You can customize the report by adding new fields.
