We are proud to support charitable, community, and open source organizations in the spirit of Atlassian Starter ProgramAtlassian's 1% challenge, and now as part of the Pledge 1% Movement.

  1. Free software for charitable and community organizations running Community/Open Source licensed versions of Atlassian Software. If you qualify, email sales@atlassian.com to request a Community/Open Source app license or go directly to this request form.
  2. Donation to Room to Read for Starter licenses. This includes a matching donation which means $20 for each new Starter license purchased and $10 for each Starter license renewal.  From 2020 and onward, grant is similar to past years.
  3. Cash contributions to other charities including: American Red Cross, Rise Against HungerAction Against HungerSave the Children, International Rescue CommitteeDoctors Without Borders, local community food banks and charities, and others.

What is Pledge 1%

For 2020:

  1. Free software valued at over $500,000.
  2. $20,000 to Room to Read.
  3. $5,000 to Rise Against Hunger.
  4. $5,000 to Action Against Hunger.
  5. $5,000 to American Red Cross.
  6. $5,000 to International Rescue Committee.
  7. $5,000 to Doctors Without Borders.
  8. Over $25,000 to other US charities like local food banks associated to Feeding America.

For 2019:

  1. Free software valued at over $500,000.
  2. $20,000 to Room to Read.
  3. $5,000 to Rise Against Hunger.
  4. $5,000 to Action Against Hunger.
  5. $5,000 to American Red Cross.
  6. $5,000 to International Rescue Committee.
  7. $5,000 to Doctors Without Borders.
  8. Over $10,000 to other US charities like local food banks associated to Feeding America.

For 2018:

  1. Free software valued at over $500,000.
  2. $20,000 to Room to Read.
  3. $10,000 to Rise Against Hunger.
  4. $10,000 to Action Against Hunger.
  5. $5,000 to International Rescue Committee.
  6. $5,000 to Doctors Without Borders.
  7. Over $8,000 to other US charities like local food banks associated to Feeding America.

For 2017:

  1. Free software valued at over $500,000 with over 1650 free licenses supporting over 725 organizations.
  2. $15,000 to Room to Read. See $15K Room to Read Donation - 2017 or our tweet.
  3. Over $35,000 to other charities.

For 2016:

  1. Free software valued at over $170,000.
  2. $14,000 to Room to Read. See $14K Room to Read Donation - 2016 or our tweet.
  3. Over $20,000 to other charities.

For 2015:

  1. Free software valued at over $135,000.

  1. Free software valued at over $140,000.
