This macro implements the LaTeX equation math mode. The output is displayed on its own line with the left horizontal alignment.

LaTeX Math Block

In the LaTeX formatted math, enter the equation.

For example: (a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab.

The preview is not displayed automatically.

The equations are left aligned.

Anchor


(With constraints)

Enter the name of the equation. The name allows you to link the math block to another section or a page.

  • You must specify Anchor to use the equation as a reference on any other page or on the existing page.

  • Numbering is supported by the Math Block macro. When you specify Anchor, numbering is enabled.

Creating ‘LaTeX Math Block’ Macro

To create a LaTeX Math Block, Perform the following steps:

1. Create a new page or go to Edit the page where you want create an equation.

2. Type / or click the + icon.

3. Select LaTeX Math Block and Click Insert. The InsertLaTeX Math Block' Macro window is displayed.

4. Enter the following details and click Insert.

A Enter the equation in the box.

B (Optional) Anchor: Enter the name of the equation.

Editing ‘LaTeX Math Block’ Macro

To edit a LaTeX Math Block perform the following:

You must be in the Edit mode to edit a macro block.

1. Click the (blue star) icon. The EditLaTeX Math Block' Macro window is displayed.

2. You can change any of the parameters that you want to change and then click the Save button.

Deleting ‘LaTeX Math Block’ Macro

To delete a LaTeX Math Block, select the block and click the (blue star) icon. The block is deleted.

You must be in the Edit mode to delete a macro block.
