Symptoms

One or more SQL macros return the following error:

org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.SQLNestedException:
Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (FATAL: password authentication failed for user)

Cause

The data source is unable to authenticate the specified database.

Resolution

You have entered the wrong username or password (or both) in the Application server configuration (server.xml).
