If an Administrator has given you the Create Projects permission, then you can approve, reject, or add a comment to an outstanding project request.

Display a list of project requests

To view the status of any project request, select Project Creation Requests from the Projects menu.

The Project Creation Requests page is displayed, listing all project requests. The list of projects includes those that are pending, completed, or rejected.

From this page, you can:

  • Click View () next to an existing request to view that request.
  • Click Delete () next to an existing request to delete that request.

The count of project creation requests in the Open status is displayed next to the Project Creation Requests tab in the left sidebar. This helps an approver view the number of open requests at a glance and manage them by priority.

This count is displayed only when the number of project requests in the Open status is one or more.

View a project request

After clicking View () to view a request, the request details are displayed.

From this page, you can:

  • Add a comment and click Add comment to send the requestor a comment about the request.
  • Reject the request by clicking Reject.
  • Approve the request by clicking Approve.

If you click Approve, then the Create Project screen is displayed where you can create a project.
