Use the app in German

Delegated Project Creator for Jira, version 3.8, introduces German language support into the app. This means that users who prefer to use the app in German can now do so. To enable German support:

  1. Navigate to Settings > System.
  2. Click Edit Settings on the top right corner.
  3. Select Index language as German and Default language as Deutsch (Deutschland), in the Internationalization section.
  4. Click Update to save the settings. The default language of Jira and the app are now set to German.

Link issues to uninstantiated epics in issue schemes

When configuring an issue scheme, you can now establish a link between an issue and an epic where the epic resides in the issue scheme itself, and is therefore, not yet created. In this way, when a project is created using that specific issue scheme, epic links can refer to the newly created epic, rather than epics that reside in the other older projects. Such epics that are still a part of an issue scheme and not created yet are highlighted with an asterisk (*) in the Create Issue and Edit Issue windows. This helps you differentiate the uninstantiated from those that are a part of other projects.

Opt out of retaining epic link(s) while importing issues from a project

When configuring an issue scheme, you now have the option to opt out of retaining epic link(s) when you import issues from an existing project. To facilitate this, a new option that allows you to select between retaining or not retaining epic links, is now added to the Import issues from project window.
