Overview

Configuration Manager for Jira is a powerful app that allows Jira administrators to transfer configuration data between different Jira Server and DC instances. Clone Plus for Jira is integrated with Configuration Manager since the release of version 6.7. This integration enables administrators to bundle Clone Plus configurations with Configuration manager snapshots in the source instance and restore these snapshots while importing them into the target instance.

Pre-requisites

Ensure both the source and target instances are installed with the same version of Configuration Manager for Jira and Clone Plus for Jira before migrating data.

  1. The module “jcpp-global-configuration-handler” should be enabled.

  2. When you are using a project snapshot, the global app data will be overridden if you choose to select Clone Plus for Jira while taking a project snapshot.
