Integration with BigPicture
This is the first part of our integration with BigPicture. We are releasing the BQL Custom Charts gadget for Cloud (Data Center version available soon). This gadget allows you to select multiple boxes from the hierarchy to set the scope of your data. Then, you can use filters (free text, type, status, dates, etc.) to narrow down specific boxes to ensure precision in your search and upcoming charts. The version allows to create the right visualization in custom tables or charts of your boxes, and charts based on tasks will be ready in upcoming versions too.
1D and 2D Pivot Tables in the JQL Custom Charts gadget
We have added 2 new views to the JQL Custom Charts gadget: 1D and 2D Pivot Tables. Now you can create a comprehensive overview of a single dimension of your dataset, or expand on the capabilities of pivot tables and introduce second dimension, enabling users to explore data relationships in more depth.
Use Cases for the 1D Pivot Table:
Analyzing work distribution across teams or projects.
Reviewing issue status distribution over time.
Use Cases for the 2D Pivot Table:
Investigating the relationship between issue types and assignees.
Understanding the distribution of effort across teams and priority levels.
Both the 1D and 2D Pivot Table views empower users to gain valuable insights into their Jira data, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient project management. These views offer flexibility and customization options, ensuring that users can tailor their analysis to meet their specific needs and objectives.
