Swanly treats all releases from Jira projects as single-project releases, even if they have identical names. Therefore, Swanly doesn’t automatically synchronize single project releases from different projects into one cross-project release.

Combine existing releases and issues into a cross-project release

  1. In Swanly, create a cross-project release with all the projects and give it a unique name.

  2. In Jira, merge each single-project release into the cross-project release you just created in Swanly.
(warning) You must have permission to delete releases in each project.

  3. In Swanly, refresh the page to see all the issues from those merged projects under the newly-created cross-project release.
✅ You can now rename the cross-project release back to its desired name.
