Problem:

When trying to deploy a snapshot on our Jira via CMJ, the following error occurs;

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Edge would induce a cycle

Solution:

The Edge would induce a cycle error, is a known issue in the 6.13.0 version of CMJ.
We have addressed this issue in the version, i.e., CMJ v6.13.1. We recommend updating the CMJ app to the latest version, 6.13.5, since there will be a lot of improvements and fixes in the latest version.
