Introduction

With the overdue feature, you can quickly find out for which tasks the end date has already passed, but the status is not done yet.

Make overdue tasks stand out on your Gantt timeline and see the full list in the Infobar in the “Overdue tasks” tab. Overdue tasks are sorted in descending order with the most overdue tasks at the top of the list.

Rules for calculating overdue tasks

A task is overdue when its end date has passed (end date < today).

The overdue feature works for:

  • Tasks with start and end dates defined

  • Tasks with an end date, but without a start date

The overdue tasks feature does NOT work for:

  • Tasks without start and end dates

  • Tasks with a start date, but no end date

  • Tasks without statuses or with empty statuses

Overdue tasks color coding

On the timeline, overdue tasks are red or yellow and include the number of days overdue:

  • Red—overdue > 7 days

  • Yellow—overdue 3 - 7 days

  • Tasks in grey are either completed on time or NOT running late
