Introduction

To assess the performance of the project over time, you can set baselines and track deviations from the initial schedule.

Baselines can be synchronized with Jira. The synchronized fields can be added to the column views.

You can create and delete baselines for all the tasks in the scope of the box or selected tasks only. Baselines are displayed as bold lines and show the position of the task at the moment of creating the baseline.

Synchronization with Jira

Baseline start date and Baseline end date fields determine the start and end position of the task’s baseline on the timeline. The following field types can be synchronized:

  • Date Picker

  • Date Time Picker

Date Time Picker fields are only available on Jira Server / Jira Data Center versions.

By default, the Baseline start date and Baseline end date custom fields are selected. The fields are created during the BigGantt installation.
