How to add a new metric

You can create your own metric or edit the existing ones. To make prioritization easier you can select from multiple metrics types:

  • ⭐️ Rating - creates 5 stars rating

  • 🏷 Label - creates a set of labels with custom names and colours

  • ✏️ Short text - creates a dropdown with text values (same as Labels but without the colours)

  • 🔢 Number - Creates the field that accepts a number input (non-decimal values)

Add a new metric

From Project menu navigate to the Priorities tab.

Go to the Foxly settings to add new metric
  • Click on +Add a new metric button

  • Select the metric type - Label, Number, Rating and Short text

  • Give metric a name

  • Select type of metric

Label metric types

  • add at least one value by clicking on +Add a new value button

  • Assign a colour, give value a name and select the numeric value that’s going to be used for priority score calculation

Number metric types

  • no additional action is needed

  • this creates a field that accepts numbers up to 3 decimal points

Rating type of metric

  • 5-star rating will be automatically created

  • review assigned numeric values and edit when needed - they’re going to be used for priority score calculation

Short text type of metric

  • add at least one value by clicking on +Add a new value button

  • give value a name and select the numeric value that’s going to be used for priority score calculation

Once you’re done with changes click on Save changes button
